Organic, DYI, Herbs & Spices-A Special Find
A person once told me just to let the Doctors do their job...Okay, but I am not better yet; they push meds on me and tell me I need to see a specialist. No, no, no!
I am a faithful woman; I have hope and "moxie" I never give up and tend to agree with the euphemism"Grace Under Fire." That could be said of me, everyone's caregiver. As a child, I used to be the only one of 2 other siblings that could keep it together when my Mother would go into a sugar meltdown, and her diabetes would put her mind and body into la la land. Mom would not know who we were or where she was. Terrorized, my brother and sister ran out of the camper. I would stay behind at 12 years of age and grow up for about an hour or two. Telling Mom, "here, drink this orange juice, and eat this oreo." My name is Dale (my middle name), you are my Mother, and I love you. I told her not to worry and that Daddy was calling the ambulance and would be right back.
Because her diabetes was considered unstable and often called a brittle diabetic, my Mother had to figure it out independently. She had three different kinds of insulin and learned from the time she was 13 how to dose herself by her readings and how she felt.
Growing up in a home where my Father was a caregiver for the last 18 years of his life and marriage, I realized that some diseases could not be cured by natural and holistic means. I watched as my Mother's life was about surviving and being still in her situation. She was brave and seemed fearless to me sometimes.
Although things mainly were never great between my Mother and me, I did learn about what I would do if I ever became sick; I would use a holistic approach as much as possible. I will avoid going to the Doctor's office at all costs. With this in mind, I research and try variations of well-developed and approved supplements and herbal remedies, but most of all, I pray and rebuke every day. To that end, I have not had a cold, flu, or Bronchitis in nearly 20 years. That is not much of a feat, but I have not hit the ground yet; perhaps I am spared, for now, a much more severe illness to date.
You should not only research herbs, spices, elixirs, and organically approved supplements but be mindful of what you put in your body.
Our indigenous peoples, those before us in America, and back to when God made the earth (my chosen belief), used natural remedies, and, other than our people wiping them out, were healthy and lived longer than any of us did and possibly still do.
I also ask in my prayers for the answers I need to make wise choices. Because a particular product or practice works for me, I understand that those choices may not be for everyone, but they may be worth a look when something is tried and true.

For this article for my blog, I wanted to bring you a site that I love and appreciate; MountainRoseHerbs.com; I hope you will be as satisfied as I have been with their products. I wanted to share information about my current order; I also learned about the benefits and features of each, but I also learned that we should check with our Doctors when mixing some products with certain medications. MRH takes care to inform us while providing quality products.
My latest order includes the following:
Organic essential oils.
Hemp oil.
Avocado oil.
Pumpkin seed oil.
Black lava salt.
Some culinary seasonings and shower wash base.
Castille soap.
I plan to create a body wash that is natural and organic and helps to alleviate soreness and body pain. Also, pumpkin seed oil can help with weak bladder to lessen those overnight trips to potty land. Hemp oil is both culinary and excellent for your skin, as is avocado oil.
If you are into DYI, such as soaps, body butter, scrubs, custom essential oil blends, and organic and sustainably sourced herbs and spices, then my go-to is Mountain Rose Herbs.
I endeavor to share something good and positive in the world! I love sharing worthwhile and valuable products, services, and sources.
